Everybody loves a comeback, particularly when it’s Detroit which is working to rebuild our economy post pandemic. A significant part of that economic engine is our meeting business.
In the last six months we have seen an exciting return of the meeting and convention business to Detroit, piece by piece, with a visible cadence that’s building momentum. At our Annual Partnership Meeting, we will unveil a “Detroit Wins” marketing campaign that showcases all of the new business booked by our sales and sports teams over the past year. We will be announcing that a national advertising and public relations campaign is rolling out to promote these wins to a nationwide audience. The campaign will focus on the fact that these wins are moving the needle in our recovery and generating business momentum in Detroit.
The campaign is intended to reach several audiences. It will inspire meeting planners who will book future business. It will, at the same time, impact leadership and decision makers that Detroit is on the move while giving new stories to media. The campaign will serve as a rallying point for the entire industry!

Your health and safety during the 2022 Visit Detroit Annual Partnership Meeting is a top priority. We have put measures into place to ensure this. We are requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to the event. Face masks are required in all common areas of the event. We have partnered with HealthShield by 42Chat to validate your vaccination credentials. Once you have registered for the event, you will be contacted to upload your vaccination card for validation. Each participant must upload their own document through their own mobile device.
