According to a comScore Media Metrix study, TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site; in fact, a comScore’s US Travel Path to Purchase study states that 62 percent of online travel purchasers utilize TripAdvisor at some point on their path to purchase.
There’s really nothing better for a business owner than when a customer takes the time to post a shining review online. With over 15 years of digital advertising experience, TripAdvisor’s Scott Caufield said that knowing how to get the most of your TripAdvisor listing, including successful engagement with your reviews, is “critical to managing your property’s online reputation,” which is why he will be presenting a session called “Managing Your Brand’s Reputation on TripAdvisor: Getting the Most out of the World’s Largest Travel Site” at the 2017 Annual Meeting.
Caufield manages the Midwest region at TripAdvisor. He is a member of several professional travel associations, speaks to groups across the Central US about how to get the most out of TripAdvisor, and has worked with hundreds of organizations in the travel sector to help them navigate the ever-evolving world of online marketing. During his session at the Annual Meeting, Caufield specifically plans to provide no-cost actionable ideas, tips and tools to help businesses get the most out of their TripAdvisor listing.
After presenting this session in the past, Caufield said he noticed some business attendees having “a more proactive approach to their presence on TripAdvisor, an increase in reviews and listings on TripAdvisor that are more appealing to potential guests.”
Caufield is an avid traveler who has lived in and explored much of the Central US. He’s currently based in Dallas where he lives with his wife, Laura, and their two children.
