Fox served as deputy emergency manager of the City of Detroit in 2013, helping guide the city through the largest municipal bankruptcy in U.S. history. Designated one of Crain’s 100 most influential women in Michigan, Fox graduated from the University of Michigan Law School and also has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.

Kevin D. Johnson is president and CEO of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation. Under his leadership, the organization aims to create 10,000 jobs, open 140 small businesses and secure $3.4 billion of capital investment for the city by 2020. Johnson has served in public and private economic-development positions throughout the U.S. He has a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Pre-Law from South Carolina State University. He received his Certified Economic Developer designation from the International Economic Development Council and serves as a council member.

Chuck Stokes is the editorial/public affairs director at WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 in Detroit, also serving as moderator and producer of Spotlight on the News, Michigan’s longest-running weekly news and public affairs show.
An Emmy Award-winning reporter, Stokes has received several lifetime achievement designations from organizations such as the Detroit Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists and the Association of Opinion Journalists. He was also inducted into the Michigan Association of Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame in 2012. He is a current member of the National Association of Black Journalists and president of the Historical Society of Michigan.
Stokes frequently appears as a panelist on the WKAR-TV Michigan State University PBS-produced program Off the Record with Tim Skubick. A graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, he has a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Stokes is married and has two daughters.
